CHURCH SCHOOL

Our 2007-2008 Church School year began September 23, 2007. We have two groups, the elementary school, taught by Cristen Lito, and the middle-high school, taught by Reader Steve Bradford.

Watch here for more news as the year unfolds!

CHOIR

The choir plays a vitally important role in Orthodox worship. Taken in its fullest context it includes all the members of the Church. We are all called to participate in worship, joining in the responses and singing the hymns (troparia and kontakia).

At St. Nicholas the congregation joins in the singing of the familiar and regular music of the Church with enthusiasm and devotion. The choir, led by our Director, Barbara Zlotnick, maintains the pace and pitch of the singing and presents special seasonal music solo as part of its vocation to "worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness".

CHOIR REHEARSALS : EVERY SUNDAY AN 9:30 AND AS ANNOUNCED

We will be practicing the Vesperal Tones and additional music for the Divine Liturgy
